Ketorolac
About Ketorolac
A potent injectable NSAID used for short term management of moderate to severe acute pain. Ketorolac or Toradol provides pain relief comparable to opioids without their addictive risks. It is commonly used in emergency departments and after surgery. Ketorolac is available as oral tablets, injection, and nasal spray. Its use is restricted to short courses because of the risk of kidney damage and gastrointestinal bleeding. Ketorolac has demonstrated that non opioid pain management can be highly effective for acute pain.
